I reviewed my same copy of this book, as there is only one being actively published, and the charts and pictures are quite clear on this edition. There is history and breadth with personal commentary from key players. The opening pages of the novel showcase a timeline titled ‘A Brief History of Superheroes’ that combines the history created within this universe with true historical events, making it easy to accept this world as truth. A curious little girl named Kukamba, who is the narrator and a main character, learns an intriguing lesson about the importance of art in the community from her grandmother, Gugu. I bought this book as a gift for a Rabbi. Itfs the story of a woman committed to God's glory, and God's hand in her life. Our youth are constantly bombarded with musical messages of all sorts.
